Women's March Saturday meetup details /DWC Monday, January 20 meeting reminder

Good Morning Democratic Woman's Club Members and Friends,

Please join us at the March on Saturday. The Dem Woman's Club is a sponsor of the Women's March so look for our name and logo on the Jumbo Tron. Send up a cheer when you see our Club's name!

Club members helped with organizing and at least one Club Member will be a featured speaker (nominated by DWC)--Dr. Andrea Cubitt. We will have a table along the Pacific Highway side of the park, in the community partners section. We'll be next to our friends and partners, the

. Look for the blue canopy tent and our standup banner with our new logo. We will use this area as our meetup destination.

  1. Information about the event can be found on the Women's March San Diego (WMSD) website. This includes information about the Waterfront Park and the march route, along with transportation and parking options. Accessible restrooms are available on the North and South side of the County Administration Building. WMSD will be providing additional accessible porta potties. ADA seating will be available in front of the stage and ASL interpretation will be provided. Coffee and Food Trucks will be along the north end of N. Harbor Drive - they are planning to arrive by 8:00AM to set up, and sales will start between 8:30AM.

Reminder about our

Monday January 20

meeting.

Social time, officers of DWC will be available to members. Gavel down at 6:30PM

Where: Elijah's Retaurant, 7061 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, San Diego CA 92111

Club Member Anne Hoiberg, San Diego County Women's Hall of Fame and other numerous awards, will remind us of the 100th year anniversary of women obtaining voting rights.

The meeting will then be turned over to Endorsement Chair Yvonne Elkin. The club will attempt to endorse in the following races:
