This month’s meeting is one week later than usual.
When: 7pm, Monday, October 22
Where: Elijah’s Restaurant, 7061 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, 92111 (map)
These are the races we will be considering (or reconsidering) for endorsement on October 22.
City Council District 1: Linda Breen, Barbara Hamilton
District 78: Todd Gloria
District 80: Lorena Gonzalez
City Council District 1: Corinna Contreras
City Council District 4: Tazheen Nizam
City Council District 2: Jennifer H. Campbell MD
Bring your sample ballot and we will have open discussion after the endorsements. Information to help you pick judges will be available.
Let’s all try to keep our chins up during this really difficult time. Plow through to November by volunteering for candidates to make sure that the Blue Wave is not just a wave but a fricking tsunami. Let’s use our hurt and anger to motivate us to work harder. We need all hands on deck now. We have absolutely no choice.

Susan put together a list of recommendations from the San Marcos Democratic Club published in the San Diego Free Press 10/15/2018 by Doug Porter, a list from Brenda Arnold, San Diego County Democratic Party, East County Democratic Club, and the San Diego County Bar Association.
