The zoom opens at 6:00 pm for socializing and credentialing. The meeting begins at 6:30 pm.
This month's meeting will be a celebration of Women's History Month and as well as marking the vernal equinox.
Our meetings are also available live on our YouTube channel. Someone will monitor the chat to text into the meeting relevant questions or comments that may be asked there.

Malia Cohen currently serves on the State Board of Equalization - the first African American woman to serve on the Board. In this role, she represents 10 million people living in 23 counties throughout the state. Prior to being elected to the Board of Equalization, she served as President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and represented San Francisco's 10th District for two terms. She is currently President of the San Francisco Police Commission working for greater police accountability in the city.
In Honor of International Woman's Month - We Welcome Cabinet Secretary of New Mexico Higher Education Rodriguez - Hometown Hero
Stephanie Rodriguez is the Cabinet Secretary of the New Mexico Higher Education Department and was appointed by the first Democratic Latina Governor of the United States, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. Secretary Rodriguez was confirmed by the New Mexico State Senate unanimously last year. Her academic background is in architecture and urban design with a focus on physical planning, universal/inclusive design, and ADA practices from the University of New Mexico. She worked in Congress and state government in the arena of public policy, and her portfolio included education, migration, military affairs, and the national and defense laboratories.
Secretary Rodriguez is now working to implement the most inclusive and encompassing tuition-free college package in the State of New Mexico while lobbying country-wide support to pass a package at the national level for all Americans and residents in the United States.
She is one of the youngest Cabinet secretaries, one of only a handful of Latinx women, and a daughter of immigrants.
