The purpose of this email is to remind everyone about the book signing immediately after the Women of Color2020 Breakfast event and to inform everyone of a very last minute offer of free movie tickets. ________________________________Immediately after WOC Roar2020, speaker Ms Sheryl Lee Ralph, the superstar performer who was the original Deena in Broadway’s groundbreaking musical Dreamgirls, will be available to sign her books for a $20 donation to her DIVA foundation. She will take photos with people who buy a book.________________________________The Deputy Director of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival, Ms Jen Nedbalsky, has offered our club free tickets to a film screening about voting rights, gerrymandering - and fair elections - tomorrow, Saturday, at the Museum of Photographic Arts. She knows this is very last minute but there are free tickets available. Please remember that there are a limited number of tickets and the early bird gets the worm. As you may know Angela invites young women of color from the local high schools, colleges, and community organizations to attend as guests. Last year we budgeted for 60 students and had 100 apply. Angela let them all attend and personally absorbed the extra cost. This year she's asking for help. If you are in a position to make a donation even if you can not attend, please do so here:
