Our October meeting is just around the corner, have you registered for our Monday, October 18th meeting yet? Pre-register for our meeting here.
Our zoom room opens at 6pm and we have a 1/2 hour social time where you can get to know your fellow members (at least their zoom face). We have a great meeting planned where we will be discussing Police Reform in the Sheriff's department and Reproductive justice. We will also be voting on a bylaw change. Please review here and be ready to vote. Remember to bring a friend and grow the movement!
Our meetings are also available live on our YouTube channel. Someone will monitor the chat to text into the meeting relevant questions or comments that may be asked there.
Special congrats to our President Dr Lawana Richmond and Rosamond Blevins for representing the DWC.
Both warriors were featured in stage at the March for Reproductive Rights that occurred Saturday October 4th at Waterfront Park. Hundreds turned out in solidarity against the inhumane Texas laws that remove the body autonomy of women in the state. It was wonderful to see so many of our fellow DWC's members raising fists and voices all over San Diego.
